Privacy policy

What is collected, why, who sees it, how long it is kept, and the rights you have over it, in the order you would ask.

Last updated 4 Sep 2026.

1.Who we are

This policy explains how FundedTick handles personal data on the fundedtick.com website, in the trader portal, and in the evaluation and funded accounts we provide. FundedTick (“we”) is the data controller. We operate under the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the EU General Data Protection Regulation.

Questions and requests about your data go to [email protected].

2.This website

The marketing pages you are reading now set no advertising trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested, time) for security and to keep the site running; they are not used to profile you and are deleted on a rolling basis.

We use Microsoft Clarity, a usage-analytics service, on this site and in the trader portal to see how pages are used (which parts are read, where people get stuck) so we can improve them. Clarity records page interactions and may replay them to us as an anonymised session; text you type into forms is masked before it leaves your browser, and in the portal all on-screen text is masked. Clarity sets its own cookies (see Cookies) and receives your IP address and browser details, which Microsoft processes under its privacy statement at privacy.microsoft.com. We do not use it for advertising, and Microsoft does not use this data to advertise to you. If you would rather not be included, most browsers can block the clarity.ms domain, or you can switch on a tracker blocker; the site works the same either way.

We also use Google Analytics 4 on this site and in the portal to count visits and see which pages and features are used. It is configured without advertising features and without Google Signals, and it does not receive your name, email address or account details. Google Analytics sets its own cookies (see Cookies) and receives your IP address and browser details, which Google processes under its privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy; Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Blocking the google-analytics.com and googletagmanager.com domains, or installing Google's opt-out browser add-on, stops it without affecting the site.

If we add or remove an analytics service, this section changes in the same release.

3.What we collect

We collect only what an evaluation, a payout and support need:

  1. (a)Registration: your name, email address, date of birth, country and phone dial code, and the timezone you choose for the portal.
  2. (b)Payment: the order, amount, currency and transaction reference for fees you pay, and the wallet address or account details you give us for payouts. Card and crypto payments are processed by our payment providers; we do not see or store full card numbers.
  3. (c)Trading data: every balance, equity and rule-check event your accounts generate, your trades, and the trading profile built from them. This is the record your evaluation is judged on and your payouts are calculated from.
  4. (d)Security data: the IP address, time and device type of each login to the portal, used to protect your account and to detect account sharing and duplicate registrations.
  5. (e)Support: the messages and attachments you send us through tickets or email.
  6. (f)Verification: if we ask you to verify your identity before a payout, the identity document and the information on it. We ask once, and only for what is needed to confirm who you are.

4.Why we use it

We use your data to:

  1. (a)Provide the service: provision and run your accounts, apply the published rules, build your trading profile and pay you.
  2. (b)Keep accounts honest: detect account sharing, duplicate registrations and prohibited conduct under the Terms.
  3. (c)Answer your support messages.
  4. (d)Send you service messages about your accounts: a pass, a fail, a payout, a rule notice, a change to the terms. These are not marketing and cannot be turned off while you hold an account.
  5. (e)Send you product news, if you opt in. Every such email has an unsubscribe link and opting out never affects your accounts.
  6. (f)Meet legal obligations, including anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering and tax requirements, and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell personal data, share it with advertisers, or use it to profile you for anything an evaluation does not need. We make no automated decision about you that has legal effect except the ones described on the rules page: the evaluation engine applies the published rules to your trading data, and every outcome is written to an account history you can read.

Our legal bases under the GDPR are: performance of our contract with you (providing the service, service messages, payouts); our legitimate interests in keeping accounts honest, securing the platform and answering you; your consent, for product news; and our legal obligations, for anti-fraud, anti-money-laundering, tax and lawful requests.

5.Who sees it

Your data is shared only with the providers we need to run the service, and only for that purpose:

  1. (a)Payment providers, to take fees and make payouts.
  2. (b)The trading platform and broker infrastructure your simulated accounts run on, which receives the trading data needed to operate the account, not your identity.
  3. (c)Hosting, email delivery and support tooling providers, who process data on our instructions under contract.
  4. (d)Microsoft and Google, which provide the usage analytics described in section 2.
  5. (e)Identity-verification providers, if verification is requested.
  6. (f)Authorities, where the law requires it or where we believe in good faith it is necessary to protect our users, the service or the public.
  7. (g)A successor, if the service is transferred to another operator who carries it on under these terms; you would be notified.

Every provider is bound to use the data only to provide their service to us and to keep it confidential.

6.Cookies

The trader portal sets the cookies it needs to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (for example your timezone and language). These are strictly necessary and are not used for advertising. Declining them in your browser means the portal cannot keep you signed in.

Both the marketing site and the portal set the Microsoft Clarity analytics cookies (_clck, kept for up to one year, and _clsk, kept for one day) and the Google Analytics cookies (_ga, kept for up to two years, and _ga_ followed by our stream id, kept for up to two years) so that the pages you view in one visit are grouped into one session and a returning visitor can be counted once. Blocking these cookies in your browser does not affect anything on the site or in the portal.

7.How long we keep it

  1. (a)Account, trading and payout records: for as long as the account exists, and for 5 years after it closes, which is what anti-money-laundering, tax and accounting law require.
  2. (b)Raw balance and equity telemetry: consolidated into daily summaries after the period the risk rules need, then deleted; the summaries and every rule outcome are kept with the account history.
  3. (c)Login records: 6 months.
  4. (d)Support messages: for as long as your account exists, then deleted with it unless part of a dispute.
  5. (e)Verification documents: deleted once verification is complete and any legal retention period has passed.
  6. (f)Marketing preferences: until you opt out.

8.How we protect it

Data is encrypted in transit. Third-party credentials we must hold are encrypted at rest. Access to personal data is limited to the people who run the platform and is logged. Payment details are held by our payment providers, not by us.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you, and any authority the law requires, without undue delay.

9.International transfers

Our providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on an EU adequacy decision for the destination country or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses, with additional safeguards where needed, so your data keeps the protection it has here.

10.Your rights

Write to [email protected] to:

  1. (a)Ask what data we hold about you and receive a copy.
  2. (b)Correct anything that is wrong. Name, date of birth and timezone can be edited in the portal; email and phone changes go through support so we can confirm it is you.
  3. (c)Have your data deleted, subject to the retention duties in section 7. Closing your account starts this.
  4. (d)Object to, or restrict, processing that relies on our legitimate interests.
  5. (e)Receive your account history in a portable format.
  6. (f)Withdraw consent to marketing at any time.

We answer within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection of the Republic of Cyprus, or to the data-protection authority in the EU country where you live.

11.Age

The service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and registration requires a date of birth that confirms it. If you believe a minor has registered, tell us and the account and its data will be removed.

12.Changes to this policy

When this policy changes we update the date at the top and, for changes that affect how your data is used, email the address on your account before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that date means you accept the updated policy.
