Terms of service
The agreement behind an evaluation, in plain language. Where a clause repeats something the site promises, that is deliberate: the promise is the term.
Last updated 31 Aug 2026.
1.The agreement
These terms are the agreement between you and FundedTick (“FundedTick”, “we”, “us”). They govern the FundedTick website, the trader portal, every evaluation and funded account we provide, and every payout we make.
By creating an account, purchasing an evaluation, or using the portal you accept these terms and the Privacy policy, which is part of them. If you do not accept them, do not register or purchase.
Where this site promises something (the rules page, the payouts page, a pricing card), that promise is a term of this agreement. If a page and these terms ever appear to disagree, the reading more favourable to you applies until we correct the page.
2.What we provide, and what we do not
FundedTick provides simulated trading evaluations. Paying the one-time evaluation fee provisions a simulated evaluation account governed by the rules published on this site. Passing every evaluation stage of the chosen type provisions a simulated funded account that is eligible for payouts under the published split.
Every account, evaluation or funded, is a simulated account operating on live market data. No order you place reaches a live market, and you never trade deposited funds.
- (a)FundedTick is not a broker, dealer, custodian or financial intermediary, and holds no client deposits.
- (b)FundedTick does not provide investment, legal or tax advice. Nothing on the site, in the portal, in a trading profile or in a support message is a recommendation to trade in any way. No member of staff is authorised to give investment advice.
- (c)The evaluation fee is a payment for access to a simulated evaluation and the services around it. It is not a deposit, is not invested on your behalf, earns nothing, and is not recoverable through trading.
3.Eligibility
To register and purchase you confirm that:
- (a)You are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter a binding contract.
- (b)You are registering for yourself, in your own name, with accurate and complete details, and you will keep them current.
- (c)You are not resident in, and are not accessing the service from, a country or territory on the United Nations, European Union or OFAC sanctions lists, or one designated high-risk by the Financial Action Task Force, or any other jurisdiction where the service would be unlawful.
- (d)You are not an owner, director or employee of another proprietary trading firm, and you are not registering on behalf of one.
- (e)You have not previously had an account terminated by us for a breach of these terms.
We may decline a registration or purchase, or close an account, where these confirmations are untrue. Where a purchase is declined before an account provisions, the fee is refunded.
4.Your account
An account belongs to the person who registered it. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for every action taken through your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your credentials have been compromised.
One person may hold more than one evaluation or funded account at a time, up to a combined starting size of $15,000 across all active accounts; exceeding that cap is a breach that closes the accounts involved. One account may never be held, traded or accessed by more than one person. Sharing, selling, lending or transferring an account, trading another person’s account, or letting another person trade yours ends every account involved and forfeits any payout not yet made.
Registering more than once with different identities or contact details is a breach of these terms.
An account stays on the broker it was purchased for and cannot be transferred to another broker after purchase.
5.The fee
The evaluation fee is a one-time payment covering every evaluation stage of one account, at the price shown on the pricing card when you buy. There are no subscriptions, no mandatory add-ons and no recurring charges.
The service is delivered the moment your account provisions. The fee is therefore not refundable once the account has provisioned, except in the following cases:
- (a)Your fee is refunded in full (100% with first payout) together with the first payout on the funded account that evaluation produced.
- (b)A purchase is declined, or an account cannot be provisioned, through no fault of yours.
- (c)FundedTick discontinues the service while your evaluation is still active and cannot be completed (section 12).
- (d)Applicable consumer law gives you a refund right that cannot be excluded.
Payment disputes. If you dispute a fee with your card issuer or payment provider instead of contacting us first, we may suspend the accounts connected to that payment while the dispute is open. Where a dispute is upheld against us on a fee for a service we delivered, the accounts connected to it are closed.
6.The rules are fixed
The rules of your account are the ones published on the rules page and on the pricing card at the moment your account provisions: profit targets, daily and total drawdown limits, the floating-risk limit, minimum trading days, minimum trade duration, the inactivity period, the consistency rule on the funded $10K account, the maximum total active capital, and the way each of them is measured.
Those rules are fixed for the life of that account. We do not change a rule, a limit or a measurement on an account that has already provisioned. A published rule change applies only to accounts provisioned after the change is published.
The rules page states the measurement semantics in full. What it says is what the evaluation engine enforces.
7.Passing, failing and inactivity
The evaluation engine checks every rule on every recorded balance and equity event, as it lands.
- (a)A stage is passed the moment your balance crosses its profit target, provided the minimum trading days are on record. The next stage, or the funded account, provisions automatically. There is no review queue.
- (b)An account fails the moment a drawdown floor or the floating-risk limit is crossed. The account stops at that moment and no further trades are accepted. You keep access to your trading profile and account history.
- (c)An account with no trade for 30 consecutive days is closed for inactivity. Closure for inactivity is not a rule breach, but the account does not reopen.
- (d)Starting again after a failure or closure is a new evaluation at the normal fee. There is no other penalty.
8.Trading conduct
The evaluation exists to assess how you trade. It is not a game to be solved. The following are prohibited on every account and are treated as a breach of these terms:
- (a)Hedging between accounts: holding opposing positions on the same instrument across a personal account and a prop account, or across two prop accounts, whether yours or anyone else’s.
- (b)Trades held open for less than 30 seconds, measured from the recorded open to the recorded close.
- (c)Exploiting a platform, data-feed or execution error, including latency or price-feed arbitrage, arbitrage of price differences between markets or brokers, and trading on prices you know to be erroneous.
- (d)Gap trading: exploiting price gaps at a market open, around news, or at similar events to capture a jump the market never traded through.
- (e)Double-sided bracket orders: placing pending buy and sell stop orders on the same instrument at the same time to capture a sudden move in either direction, regardless of where the market goes. A single pending order used to enter a trade is a normal entry and is not covered by this rule.
- (f)High-frequency hyperactivity: an excessive volume of trades in short bursts, by algorithm or by hand, where the pattern rests on speed and repetition rather than a strategy.
- (g)Martingale and grid systems: stepping up position size to recover losses, or laying a grid of positions to harvest small fluctuations.
- (h)Group trading: coordinating, mirroring or sharing trades with other people, or copying trades from any account that is not your own.
- (i)Having an account traded or managed by a third party, or trading an account that belongs to someone else.
- (j)Changing the investor password issued with the trading platform account.
- (k)Any attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, probe or overload the platform, the engine or the portal, or to obtain another person’s data.
- (l)Using the service for any unlawful purpose, or submitting false information at registration, verification or payout.
Copy trading from your own personal account into your prop account is allowed. Automated trading tools that place trades under your own strategy are allowed; they do not change who is responsible for the account.
We do not maintain a list of undisclosed prohibited strategies. If a practice is not listed here or on the rules page, it is not prohibited, and we will not add it to an account after the fact.
9.Enforcement cites its evidence
Rule breaches under section 7 are decided by the evaluation engine on the recorded data, at the moment they occur, and the account stops at that moment.
Breaches of section 8 are decided by FundedTick on the event log. If we take an enforcement action against an account (a stop, a suspension, a termination, or the withholding of a payout), the notice names the specific recorded events on which the action rests. You may respond within 14 days, and no final decision on money owed is made before that period has passed. We do not take silent enforcement actions.
Where a breach is confirmed, the accounts involved are closed and payouts not yet made are forfeited. Payouts already made are not reclaimed unless they were obtained by fraud.
10.Payouts
On a funded account you are entitled to 80% of the net profit accrued in each payout cycle, paid bi-weekly. Net profit is the funded account’s closed profit for the cycle after losses, measured on the recorded balance.
- (a)A payout is requested from inside the trader portal. Each request is checked against the same recorded data that governed the account; section 9 applies to that check.
- (b)The one payout condition is the consistency rule: on the funded $10K account only, no single trading day may account for more than 40% of the cycle’s profit. There is no first-payout cap, no profit buffer and no other condition.
- (c)Your evaluation fee is returned in full with your first payout.
- (d)Referrals: if you refer a new trader, 5% of their first purchase is credited to your referral balance; later purchases by the same trader earn nothing. Withdrawals from the referral balance start at $5.
- (e)Before your first payout we may ask you to verify your identity. We ask once, for the documents needed to confirm that you are the person who registered and that you may lawfully be paid, and not again unless something changes.
- (f)Payouts are sent to the method you choose in the portal within 3 business days of approval. Third-party transfer fees and any tax due on what you receive are yours.
- (g)Payouts are real money paid by us. They are not investment returns, and no part of any fee you paid is held or invested to fund them.
11.Intellectual property and your data
The site, the portal, the evaluation engine, the trading profile and the FundedTick name and marks are ours. You may use them to take part in the service and for nothing else.
The trading data your accounts generate is recorded by us and used to run your evaluation, calculate payouts and build your trading profile. You may view and export your own account history at any time. We may use aggregated, non-identifying data to publish statistics; we never publish your identity or your individual results without your consent.
How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy policy.
12.Changes to the service and to these terms
We may change the catalog, the prices and the rules of future evaluations at any time; such changes apply only to accounts provisioned after they are published (section 6).
We may modify or discontinue the service with at least 30 days’ notice to the email on your account. If the service is discontinued while you hold an active evaluation that cannot be completed, the fee for it is refunded. If it is discontinued while you hold a funded account, the payout for the current cycle is calculated and paid as of the discontinuation date.
We may update these terms. Changes take effect 14 days after we notify you, and never apply to a payout cycle already under way. If you do not accept a change you may close your account before it takes effect.
13.Termination
You may close your account at any time from the portal or by writing to support. Closing a funded account ends future payout cycles; the cycle in progress is paid out if it qualifies.
We may close an account for a breach of these terms under section 9, or where required by law. Sections 2, 9, 11, 14 and 15 survive the end of this agreement.
14.Liability
The service is provided as it is described on this site. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and market data, broker connectivity and the trading platforms we connect to are provided by third parties we do not control.
Where a platform, feed or connectivity failure on our side or a provider’s side affects the recorded data on your account, we correct the record from the event log and, where a rule outcome depended on the failure, reverse it. That is the remedy for a platform failure, and the only one.
To the fullest extent the law allows, FundedTick is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits on simulated accounts, or loss of data, and our total liability to you in connection with an account is limited to the fee you paid for it plus any payout properly due on it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything the law does not allow to be limited.
You agree to compensate FundedTick for losses we suffer because of your breach of these terms or of the law.
15.General
These terms and the Privacy policy are the whole agreement between us. If any part of them is found unenforceable, the rest stands. If we do not enforce a right immediately, we have not waived it.
You may not transfer this agreement. We may transfer it to a successor that carries on the service on the same terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any dispute that we cannot resolve together within 30 days of either of us raising it in writing is submitted to the courts of Cyprus, which have exclusive jurisdiction. If you are a consumer in a country whose law gives you the right to bring a claim in your own courts or under your own law, nothing here takes that right away.
16.Contact
Questions about these terms go to [email protected]. Support is answered by the people who run the platform, and a person who can read your account history replies.
